The Life Sensing Tire is the only tire that will warn you 100 miles before a potential tire failure.

The Life Sensing Tire keeps you and your family safe by giving you an early warning when your tires could fail.  You can drive to the tire store to have your tire repaired or replaced instead of having an unexpected blow-out or flat.

The sensor placed in the tire detects when it has low air pressure or improper inflation.  It detects damage done to the outside of the tire.  It also detects the thickness of the tire tread.  When it senses a potential failure, it signals the driver by turning on a warning light on the dashboard.  The sensor is so accurate that it can give you a warning at least 100 miles before a failure due to unseen damage.

The sensor for the Life Sensing Tire was developed by a Purdue University Professor in Agriculture Engineering.   The sensor measures the thickness of the internal layers of the tire.  When there is a change in thickness, the sensors signal a potential failure. 

Prototype tires accurately detected all failures and could also tell the location of the problems.  An unbiased organization tested the Life Sensing Tire.  They said, "This product far exceeds our expectations in sensitivity of predicting tire failures".  This test showed that the sensors would predict failures at least 100 miles before they occurred.
