The Fast Framing System brings framing into the 21st century and for the first time, makes mass production of framing and the framing of an average size single story house possible.  It does for framing what pre-manufactured roof trusses did for roofing.  The system is universal and can be used on ANY floor plan.

The average size single story house typically takes 4 - 6 days to frame, and it is rare to find 90 degree corners, vertical wlls and flat walls.  With the Fast Framing System, that same house can be framed in less than 1 day, with guaranteed 90 degree corners, vertical walls and flat walls.  The installation of roof trusses (or floor joists for a multi story structure) can begin 1 - 2 hours into the framing process.

There is virtually no waste lumber either in the manufacturing process or framing process.  And it does not require experienced framing crews.

Based on the 2005 cost of $6 per square foot for framing, the average size house (2500 square feet) would cost $15,000 to frame.  Using the Fast Framing System would cut that cost in half.

The Fast Framing System consists of 3 sizes of wall framing units, standard size window and door framing units, and 2 tools used during the framing process. Software used with Autocad allows the builder to do a takeoff that shows the number of each framing unit required, and prints out a color coded floor plan showing where each framing unit is used, and tabulates the number of each size framing unit and the additional lumber for corners, "tee" intersections and cap plates required.
