Peppermint Splash is a unique beverage.  I developed it to help my young daughter with her temper tantrums.  As an herbalist I use plant sources to effect the body.  Many common foods can have possitive effects when consumed and still taste great!  Peppermint has many beneficial qualities; it is known to relieve stress and anxiety, ease digestion, heartburn, nausea, headaches, coughs, and it has a cooling effect on the body.  The flavor of peppermint is known and enjoyed worldwide, primarily through candies, cakes, and confections, dental products and liqueurs. Therefore I feel it would have a broad base appeal.  The combination of ingredients I use in this recipe has a zesty taste, is refreshing, and will cool you off while calming you down.  In a frenzied world of over caffeinated and power-charged drinks, there needs to be an alternative, one that helps people manage their stress, feel invigorated not sleepy, and has a taste everyone will enjoy.
