I have invented the "On Your Left" Talking Bicycle Horn.Ths is ONE OF A KIND and FIRST to take to market.

In order for a cyclist to avoid a collision and safely pass someone he must say "On Your Left".  This phrase is commonly known as bicycle rules of the road. Repeating this phrase becomes tiresome therefore causing a LACK of communication.

With my horn you record "On Your Left" in your own voice and with the push of a button the message is relayed for you.

Unlike traditional bicycle bells and horns that just make noise, my talking horn makes your passing intentions CLEAR, making for a safer more confident,less frustrating and enjoyable ride.

I attended the Minnesota Inventors Congress in June of 2009 which was open to the public. I gave a domonstration on how easy it was to install, record your voice and play back your message. The response was "WOW, Why didnt I think of that?" or " Oh, I do get tired of saying that!". Adults as well as children were having fun recording their messages and playing them back. We sold several horns at the gift shop that day and people were excited to start using it. We even sold one to a man who was going to put it on his electric wheeel chair! 
While at the Minnesota Inventors Congress I had the chance to meet Louis Foreman of Everyday Edisons. I told him about my horn at a lecture and he came buy my booth for a demonstration. He thought it was great and encouraged us to pitch this product for licensing. 
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported 698 deaths and 43,000 bicycle related injuries for the year 2007. I believe my horn will help reduce these numbers 
I am a Chicago Police Officer who was detailed to the city bike team and grew concerned about the number of collisions caused by lack of communicating your passing intentions. The main reason cyclist did'nt say "On Your Left" is because they were TIRED of saying it over and over.  When they stopped saying it they just increased their chance of being involved
in an accident tremendously.  Lack of saying "On Your Left" causes accidents and that's a fact!

My horn promotes bicycle safety and is fun to use.  I know it WILL make bicycling safer.
