Welcome Inventors!
Finally Honest, Scam-Free Inventor Help Backed by the US Department of Commerce - Get Started Today!

Inventor Qualifications:  Inventors from all walks of life - independents, companies, universities, federal labs, etc - are welcome to participate.  There are only two criteria for participation:

  1. You must be United States citizen since this offer is funded by US taxpayers.

  2. Your invention must be protected through a current provisional patent, patent pending, patent granted or significant trade secret.

What is Eureka! Ranch International's Role?  Eureka! Ranch International has a spin-off company called Merwyn Research, Incorporated (MRI).  MRI is under contract with the US Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards & Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST/MEP) to operate and populate the USA National Innovation Marketplace.  In addition MRI produces the market research reports, training materials and public relations/marketing for the USA National Innovation Marketplace.

Is there any Fee for Inventors to Participate?  No - thanks to the support of NIST/MEP.  Your only obligations are (1) the time required to follow the steps outlined below and (2) to allow your invention to be published publicly to the USA National Innovation Marketplace (note: it’s this publication that allows the 1600 person NIST/MEP network and others to find your invention - if for some reason you want it kept private, you can do so by paying the $2000 market research fee - otherwise this service is 100%, no strings attached, free to you).  The steps include:

Step 1:  Click "Join Now" in the menu above to create your free account (if you haven't already)
Step 2:  Complete the online Business Translation Workshop (also located under "Free Stuff" above (approx 2 hrs)

Step 3:  Complete a first draft questionnaire by simply clicking on "START an Innovation Submission" (the button will be available once logged in after creating your account).  Save your work often - do NOT "Submit" your questionnaire, simply "Save & Exit"
Step 4:  Schedule a one hour coaching session after completing the above steps to the best of your ability by simply sending an email to InventorHelp@PlanetEureka.org with your NAME and the NAME OF YOUR INVENTION.  You will receive a return email with more information about scheduling time for a 1-on-1 telephone/web coaching session with a Planet Eureka! Specialist.

Step 5:  At the end of your coaching session you will receive a pre-paid $2000 passcode that will allow you to submit your invention for testing and publication to the official USA National Innovation Marketplace.

We look forward to getting your idea published in the USA National Innovation Marketplace!

Cheers!

FAQ:
Q.  How does Merwyn Research, Inc make money?
A: The US DoC pays us for public report listings as the marketplace will help drive the economy out of recession.   The funding is for the free Merwyn Business Simulation as long as the report is public.

Q:  Why do I need to do the workshop before filling in the report?
A: The workshop has proven to increase the scores of inventors reports. The report can only test information that you have entered. We say "garbage in, garbage out". If you do not answer the questions accurately, your report will be incorrect. The Business Translation Workshop teaches you how to go about getting your marketing message across and also prepares you to answer the questions in the report.

Q: Will you help getting my product to market?
A: We do not actively try and sell your invention for you. We try and connect you to the people who can take your product to market. We advertise your innovation. If you want to get your product on the market, you will need to put in the hard work. With the report, you can go to potential companies and show them the report so they can learn about your innovation in the format that will interest them.
